产品概述
G-418（Geneticin，遗传霉素）是一种氨基糖苷类抗生素，在分子遗传试验中，是稳定转染最常用的抗性筛选试剂。G-418（Genetici-n,遗传霉素）可以干扰80S核糖体的功能，并影响真核细胞中蛋白质的合成，主要用于哺乳动物、植物或酵母细胞的选择。G-418 （Geneticin, 遗传霉素）对细菌、酵母、高等植物、哺乳动物细胞、原虫和蠕虫均有毒性，其抗性基因为显性表型，在Tn601（903）和Tn5转座子上都有定位。虽然这个基因来源于细菌，但也可以在真核细胞中表达。将抗性基因引入细胞可引起对G-418的抗性，使细胞能够在含有G418的培养基中生长。G-418的这一选择特性，已广泛应用于基因转移、基因敲除、抗性筛选以及转基因动物等方面。

注意事项
1、本产品经0.1 μm过滤除菌，使用时应注意无菌操作，避免污染；
2、本产品为浓缩液，请根据需要稀释后使用；
3、2-8℃中解冻，混匀后使用，切忌反复冻融，用量较少时建议分装冻存；
4、2-8℃中保存12个月内有效；
5、本产品仅用于科研或进一步研究使用，不用于诊断和治疗。
